GOT Season 2: In Production – Croatia Video

HBO released another video showing behind-the-scenes footage of the Game of Thrones series. Producers, directors, and actors discuss on last year’s shooting of season 2 in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Game of Thrones Season 2 US & UK Premiere dates are out – just in case you missed this post.

Producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss talk about what are the advantages and challenges of filming inside the city walls, and share they thoughts on episodes shot in Dubrovnik.

Dubrovnik  was one of the main locations for filming the second season of Game of Thrones. The city of Dubrovnik was used as the new “home” of King’s Landing and mistical town Qarth. The town´s beauty really impressed the cast members.

Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys commented on the beauty of the location and size of production series. Her fellow actor Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), who, after an Emmy award for the role of Tyrion won the Golden Globe Award, went on with praising everything from food to architecture.

Check out some photos of shooting locations in and around the town Dubrovnik.
